This manual shows how to setup a soundcard with AGW Packet Engine. It is about the same if you have a packetmodem (TNC). If you dont find your TNC in the list try TAPR TNC2.
Start the softwarer either by opening AGW Packet Engine.exe or via Windows Startmenu.
This splash will show up on screen:

Software starts as an icon - its a driver:

Click on icon for menu:

Choose properties:

Choose New Port

Click OK

Choose your comport under "Select Port" and SoundCard under "Select Your TNC Model"

Click "OK"

Edit the Port description at "Port1" och choose "SinglePort". Click "OK".

Click "OK"

Open the menu again and choose "Exit"
Next time you start AGW Next time you start everything is ready for you. In the future you must start AGW before you start Dxlink! You now have a new representing the new virtual TNC that you created:

Open menu again and choose "SoundCard Tuning Aid"

Click on "Set Volume" and adjust the settings as above picture (Linjeingång=Line in). You might have to choose between Line in and Microfone.
Now you are ready for DxLink!
